I’ve just signed up to be a contributor for the 2nd edition of the original Halloween Giveaway. It seems like Guido Nussbaum and David Canham have outdone themselves…

This is not just another giveaway event. As you might know, Guido created the Giveaway Manager 2 script, which is used to run most giveaway events. And for this year’s Halloween Giveaway, he has made several changes to the original script “that give the contributors more power than before”.

The most important of those changes is the implementation of a points-based system, like you might now from the Profit Work From Home - site.

It’s simple… this new Giveaway Script uses a points system that lets you have full control over your points. You can earn points in different ways and spend them for adding new gifts (or banners and paid offers as an upgraded contributor)… or you can use your points to rank your gifts higher in the downloads area. However you want to spend your points, it’s up to you

You can get more points by…
- referring new contributors
- referring new members
- upgrading your account (100 points)
- buying credits (30 extra points for $27)

The changes also include a banner rotator that has been added at the top of the site, and to which upgraded contributors can add their banner, and the instant approval of gifts - no more waiting until your gift is approved; it will appear in the list instantly. (Make sure you read the gift rules*! Gifts that are against the rules will be deleted and points will be lost)

* You can enter any kind of downloadable gift or a membership site that you own. No affiliate products or affiliate membersip sites are allowed.

In spite of the changes, the site looks and feels the same, so you won’t have to spend hours to get the hang of it.  And if the points system might seem to be a bit complicated now, it is not - as you will find out instantly once you’ve created your account.
