The long awaited Simple Giveaway Pro - script has finally been released.

This brand new script - which was based on the popular Simple Member Pro script - will take its place as the third major JV Giveaway Management script on the market, and is presented to be an equally valued alternative for Giveaway Manager 2 and The Ultimate JV Giveaway Script.

On the sales page, you can read that Simple Giveaway Pro makes creating and running your giveaway as simple and quick as possible: it is said to be very easy to install and use, and allows simple site customization.

To prove the usability of the administration area, a demo has been been made available at the site. This demo allows you to take a look inside and see the massive amount of features Simple Giveaway Pro has to offer.

I’ve taken a quick look inside, and noticed a couple of differences with Brad Smith’s Giveaway Manager 2 script (I’m not as familiar with the features of The Ultimate giveaway script, so I can’t compare SGP with it):

• 2 autoresponder services are supported: Aweber & Prosender (I still need to figure out what to do if you use neither one).

• You’re presented the option to choose whether to show gift links before launch date or not.

• A powerful WYSIWYG (WhatYouSeeIsWhatYouGet) HTML-editor is provided to customize the pages. This editor can be turned on or off as needed.

• Gift contribution is set up using a points-based system, like you might now from the Profit Work From Home - site. 

• JV Partners can easily submit text- and banner ads for inclusion.

• JV Partners can purchase extra gift credits.

• Only one ‘real’ OTO is shown. This means upgraded contributors can not add a special offer to the event. Instead, they are allowed to submit banner- and text ads that rotate at the top or bottom of every page.

• Links to pages containing legal info (disclaimer, privacy policy & TOS) ánd (very important, because often forgotten) contact details are provided in the footer. The content of these pages can easily be edited from inside the admin area.

Like I said, I’ve only taken a quick glance inside both the member- and administration area. To get a good idea of how the site actually works, I suggest you give the system a test drive yourself. You will find a link to the fully functional demo in the menu on the sales page.

I just found out Mike Paetzold has released a brand new report on JV Giveaway events and how to use them to build your list(s).

The Easy Giveaway Plan is designed to walk you through every step needed to participate in a giveaway, includes a complete set of easy-to-edit html webpages you can use to set up your campaign(s) ánd a free instructional video that shows you how the editing’s done.

The report is mainly targeted to beginning contributors, but contains some very interesting tips on how to monetize your confirmation- and download page.

With every new JV Giveaway event, the number of members drops. As a result, the number of subscribers drops. Email conversions have never been this low. The leader boards are dominated by people who generate 20 referrals (or even less)…

The giveaway market is overloaded…

With so many giveaways listed on NewJVGiveaways.com. How do you determine which ones are the best to join?

I came across this question in a Warrior thread about JV Giveaway events, and it got me thinking…
Maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to add some sort of rating system to the list of events.

• The list of events grows bigger and bigger each week. I assume most people don’t have time to join all these giveaways. A rating system could help them pick the most interesting ones.

• Let’s face it - there are several low quality giveaways around. A rating system might motivate some giveaway managers to put in a little more effort when they set up an event.
   

Still, I have some thoughts…

What makes a JV Giveaway a quality event? There are so many factors to consider: the number  and quality of gifts, the membership price, the entire look & feel of the site, the money you can earn by promoting the event, referral contest prizes maybe,…

I also think such a rating system needs to be solid and explicable - guaranteed I will receive questions about why a certain giveaway has a lower rating than another one…

If I decide to do it, I also need to consider whether I will be the one rating the events, or if I will let the the public do it. Since that would make the rating system open for everyone, I think it can be manipulated easily…

You see, the idea still needs a lot more thought…
