Contest: Suggest & Win!
For some time now, I’ve been thinking about creating a (free) JV Giveaways toolbar, which would allow you to have quick access to a collection of useful tools and resources that can…
- simplify the process of setting up a giveaway campaign
- improve interaction between all giveaway participants (members, contributors & managers)
- speed up your promo campaigns
- …
I want this toolbar to be useful to as many giveaway marketers as possible, I’d really like your input on this!
- Let me know what you think of the idea. Do you think such a toolbar is a good idea, or just a big waste of time?
- If you like the idea, please share your suggestions and tips. What would you like to see added? (Some quick examples: HTML-checker, uploader, link cloaker, links to useful sites, …)
Put your brain to work, share your thoughts and we might be on our way to creating a tool that will ease up the life of hundreds of giveaway marketers all around the internet.
To get those brain cells going, I decided to turn this into a contest: the most valuable suggestions/ideas will be rewarded with a special prize.

Have fun brainstorming!

Hi Mieke,
I think the link cloaker, an uploader, and links to sites would make good apps for the toolbar. Any way to add ad links (a la AdFactory)?
I’ll think up some other ideas soon.
Cheers,
Paul
Hi Mieke,
great idea, I would like to see a link to cheep qaulity resources such as where to get quality ebook or software graphics done for pennies on the dollar and direct links to such resources. Also how about a Doe’s and Don’t hints and tips sections. Such as don’t use cheap nasty graphics for giveaways and always remember to rotate your gifts.
Also how about providing newbies with solid sensible information about how to use giveaways correctly.
All the best Andrew
Me again Mieke,
tools such as link cloaker and keyword generator would be a good idea too.
Andrew
Hi Mieke,
To me it would be the most useful (and possibly most viral) if it were designed in such a way as to let people know of new giveaways… BUT - also be branded with the affiliate link of whom the tool bar was downloaded from.
Hope that makes sense?
(Though I’m not sure it would be possible???)

There are many tools which could be incorporated, but the more you try to put in it, the more complicated it becomes.
Simplify it by having many of those tools on a website, but have the toolbar point to it.
One of the best things to be able to put in it is a Viral List Builder.
However, this may not be possible.
Certainly to be able to FTP would be good.. and a pop-down html editor, or link to a free one that works really well and is small in size.
Ewen Chias HTML editor is good, but it’s bulky and take a lot of resources to run it.
There are many of these tools all over the net, and some that not many people have heard of.
May I suggest that you ask subscribers for some of these resources so you can check them out.
Kind regards,
Jason

Whatever you do, don’t forget the radio. I’ve been using your adfactory bar for quite awhile now. It has some links to sites I visit, but I use Roboform 99% of the time. Sorry, but I only use it for the radio and occasionally to build an ad.
I used freetrafficbar for a long time, maybe you could do something like it has. Not the rotating ads though, just the dowline builder and clickbank products.
If possible, maybe tie it into your downline builder site. For that matter, maybe you could make it rebrandable. So once branded with your ID#, you could toss it in a zip file with your gifts and pass it on.
Then if someone installs it, there hit with instructions on how to sign up(under the person who branded it), and get their own to brand. You could also throw in some kind of inexpensive MLM program to monetize the downline, so you’re getting more than just giveaway referrals.
Just a thought, or three.
